Just offer your approached staff member a new contract when this happen. I`ve not once seen them sign for the new club when I`ve done this, they always sign the new contract.

Oh man if I had known about this thread earlier... I'd have 50% of the total posts in this thread.
The biggest load of **** I can think of was on 09, playing Man City in final of Carling Cup with Liverpool, 1-0 up 88th min Skrtel ***** up and they equalise, 93rd min Zhirkov scores unbelievable freekick from 40 yards and I quit FM for 6 months after that.
On FM10, leading by 2 goals with 20/30 min left to play so I try bring on a defensive mid for a striker just to sure up defensively and they always score before I can get the player on and for tactics to have changed.
Also attacking JUST past the allotted added time (eg, 3 min and it's 93:20) and even though I have the ball just outside their box the ref blows for fulltime, yet when the opposition need a goal the ref lets the game run up to 2 minutes over allotted time.
Reading through this topic has cheered me up though, had a good laugh at some of the misfortunes, at least I'm not the only one suffering all this BS.

Sangiovannese Serie 'B' 2012/2013 season.
So everything was going fine and I was a mid table Serie 'B' team, then December a fans group want to buy the club from the chairman and a transfer embargo is put in place preventing me from bringing in any players. Mid January I get offers of 1.3 million for my best defender and 1.1 million for my best striker/top scorer and my stupid chairman steps in and accepts both bids. Now I'm left without my 2 most important players and can't bring in anyone to replace them. I'll probably get relegated now
. The exact same thing happened last time with Sangiovannese before my save corrupted. I'll resign if I get relegated and sign with a German team. F this ****.
God this game sucks sometimes.

Winning 1-0 in the 88th min. or so, setting mentality to defensive and immediately receive a goal.

how come when i reject a contract proposal from another club my teams form always seems to get a lot worse and also teams with lower reputation than mine unsettling my first team players, for example i am Middlesbrough in the 3rd season and in a comfortable mid table position and hull (who have just been promoted and are 19th in the league) decide they want to sign David Wheater from me for a ridiculous fee which isn't close to his valuation, I then reject the bid and then he declares that he is unhappy with me for not allowing to speak to such a ''big club''? Makes no logical sense what so ever.
Haven't been on the site in a few days but from afar I can see why Sean didn't really want a Story section on the site. For example Jay1992 and his "My Life as Man City/Barcelona/Liverpool manager". Between the 3 stories he's got one game into a season!! Then mods like Jake have to run about after him closing threads and posting links. I'm sure Jake and co are asking what's the point???

I absolutely hate the fact that your team is doing better than expectations, on a good run of form then all of a sudden you get wolloped by a team in a relegation dogfight, your team morale takes a hammering and I have to try and rebuild the form all over again. A team with media prediction of 16th out of 24, 2nd in the league just after Christmas and it all falls apart. There isn't too much that you can do about it :S
My game ran perfectly fine for the first while, now it crashes about every second game.

My fans really dont know **** about football, they were actually sad to see alex go when i had carvalho, terry, toloi and chiellini! he was the 5th best defender and my transfer confidence is actally at poor becaus e of that and freeing my ****** reserves, rhys taylor, jacob mellis etc, freakishly frustrating!!!
