Sure it's been mentioned before, but you're leading by a goal, with a few minutes to go - every last minute and all of injury time is highlights as they lay siege to your goal, regardless of what tactics you use, time wasting on full, etc. But if you need to score in the last few minutes the game skips merrily to the end without a single highlight even if you've got 4 up front and have gone onto overload.

Having your target man with 16 heading continually header over the bar from 3 yards for an entire match.
 
Having players run into each other all the time when a counter attack is on. It's f***king irritating cuz there's a nice attack building tons of potential defence splitting passes but a runner from deep keeps running into the player with the ball which makes him hesitate and then lose the ball. How do I stop this? Is their some way that I can tell my players to stop being retarded?

Also having a center back who has 16 heading and 16 jumping and he still needs like 30 chances to score a header from point blank range from corners. It would be easier if he started his run when the corner kick taker starts his run up but the CB always waits till the last moment to begin his run sometimes even missing the ball! That's stupid cuz he shouldn't be surprised the ball's coming at him! I set my conrers to far post and he's the ony player attacking it
 
Being on a 8 game win streak streak with morale through the roof and everyone hitting top gear, then your top scorer gets injured in training with cruciate damage for 6 months, just as the season is winding down. Heartbreaking.

Oh, just had a player complain about a lack of first team football. He arrived in January, played 2 games, then started whining about not being able to settle in. Now hes crying about not playing regular football, one game after being back.

He's lucky I haven't strangled him, I wish there was an option to kill one of your players, in order to set an example about squad discipline.

Oh, and overload has never gotten me a late goal. EVER!

Same here, for some odd odd reason, 'defensive' gets me a late goal, but that's only if im winning anyway and need assurance.
 
Why do players injure themselves so easily when playing for the national team

im wolves and i was 8th in the league after 25 games
now all of a sudden ive not won in 10 games and ive been losing about 4-0 each game really fukin ****** me off feel like snappin the disc
 
Ouch. 6 clear cut chances and only 1 goal.

Usually in a bad stretch like that I try to keep morale high, instead of getting angry at the time. Have you rotated your bad performers, or is it a team thing?
 
Ever since the new patch the scoring is alot harder. I'm Manchester United and always have atleast 60% possession with like 5 clear cut chances and get only one goal or tie. Bertatov is over 20 hours without a goal and Rooney was like 500minutes without a goal and they get some many chances in games.

Hmm that doesn't happen to me in the new patch. I managed Leverkusen in the 1st season and only brought in 2-3 young players and my team was scoring for fun and conceeded very little as well. Was unbeatable the whole season and my players average age is only 22. Most probably is your tactics mate. You need to have the right players for the right role as well :)

I don't think its the patch. In my first season my 3 AMs were scoring a goal a game in the least (between the 3 of them), now the same 3 players are missing a lot of clear cut chances and breakaways.
I think its a problem with form and motivation, not game engine. Stick it out and i'm sure your strikers will explode in the next few games.
 
i just dont like the fact that i am **** at making tactics, whenever i try i get munched by every team, so i tweak it and i still get munched :(
 
WTF is with these last minute equalizer goals?????????

Once your team gets to certain high level, it's almost impossible to prevent the other team from coming back. Bah Was wales up 2-1 over Norway in the 91st minute, instant goal for them to tie.
 
If anyone else finds this annoying like my thread just so i know how many people agree,

Ugh, this game is so bullshit. I scored the late go ahead goal in the 80th minute versus Panathainkos making it 2-1. I change tactics to my defensive that always shuts teams down.

What happens ONE MINUTE LATER? A bullshit goal off a corner, they kick it to the short option who is wide open and he fires one off one of my players. Then we get 5 minutes extra time, and guess what happens on the 5th minute exactly? MY DEFENSE LAYS DOWN. Uh, hey defenders, there is a lone striker in the gap between you and nobody else around, how about marking him like I ordered you to. So much for 10.3, this **** happens all the ******* time.
 
im managing North Queensland Fury of A-League... they have a salary cap and its so frustrating getting decent players. and when they get good, they ask for more.

anyone managing a club in A-League?

Anytime I score a late goal, especially against a good team, they always score RIGHT back, within 10 minutes. Doesn't matter what I do. I never had this problem on fm09, or 10.1-10.2

I even had some **** teams do it, they absolutely dominate possession and my GK seems to get magic butter fingers in the last few minutes.
