Giving it to the assistant, unfortunately you don't get as much choice over who to renew, in fact you have no choice.

I hate it when you give good youths chances and they come up short for you and you have to end them out on loan and are useless for one or two more years.

All of my star players are officially injured (Torres, Gerrard, Gourcuff) except for one(Sanchez), and he's been playing **** since the others have been injured. Great.

Skrtel is also injured who's a first teamer and so is Granero who was back-up to Gerrard/Gourcuff. >______<

Oh and Mascherano is supsended for three games.

EDIT: And now I've just conceded my third late equaliser/winner in three games. FFS.

Other teams not playing ball...

I've got a gripe about something that has happened a lot recently. Playing as Empoli, summer 2011 and on a spending spree.... or at least I would be if the other teams let me!

I'm putting in bids for players, which are then rejected. Fair enough I say, so I send them an enquiry. 'We want £5m for Player X". So I agree to their demands. Rejected. Offer more plus additional clauses to sweeten the deal. Rejected. Usual line is that the team is waiting for other offers. Another offer comes in, for less than I offered. Accepted!?!?

This has happened lots of times. I never argue or play mind games with other managers and I conduct business transparently (rarely talk up a player before buying him). It isn't just local rivals that do this, but non-rival teams Italy, as well as teams from Spain, Netherlands, Portugal etc (but not sure if has happened with English clubs).

I haven't had this happen with any other team that I have played as before (though this is my first time playing as an Italian team). It's getting so that I end up buying a 3rd or 4th choice player. I have also missed out on buying some absolute gems to other clubs who came in a week or two after I started discussions and bought him for less than I was finally offering. V ANNOYING!!!!

Has anyone else experienced this?

Yes basically with every single player on fm i just deal with it , as far i remember u have been held ransom with the bids on the game kind of why i use genie for my players i refuse to offer 25 million have it rejected , someone pops in and gets him for 12 its pathetic and stupid and also unrealistic , i have enquired about lots of players on fm2010 and never once have they returned with a bid

regens... in my game with man united in season 2037/38 i had only had 2 regens good enough to play in first team from my own youth team in 20 years - this seems to be very small amount if you consider how many players have really broken through in the last 20 years. almost all of my young players are found by scouts or extensive searching just so i have enough homegrown players in the champo league

Fernando Torres being injured for most the late season and not performing very well at all. He had low morale in the champion league final and I don't think I even put him in. Not like it mattered since we totally mauled Real Madrid 5-1.

im england and ive just beaten spain in the semis in the world cup and then i watch brazil v ecuador in the other semi and it goes to pens then brazil miss and all ecuador need to do is score the last pen to go to the final ,which is good coz it would be an easy win, then segundo castillo steps an misses an brazil win then in the final they beat me!!!!!
SO ANNOYIN!!!!

Champions League quarter final drew 1-1 to Arsenal first leg second leg 0-0 lost on away goals. Then, next game FA Cup semi-final vs west ham and I conceded in 121st minute. (Man city) :@

this is startting to p me off...

i have a world class midfielder, as important as roy keane was, he's my first choice DMC:D
problem is he's from new zealand... i've never had a problem with this until just now, my problem is that he got called up for Oceana cup of nations at the end of december, as you can see in the picture its almost the end of february - he is still on international duty, he's been unavailable for 2months - if you look at the fixtures new zealand haven't played since jan 17th, over a month ago! their next fixture, the first of a 2 legged final isn't until 27th march with second leg on 31st of march!!

i'm all for players representing their country, that isn't my issue - i don't understand why 1. there is two months and ten days between two successive fixtures in a major tournament, and 2. why for those two months without any international fixtures they aren't allowed to return to play for their clubs..........

has anything like this happened to anybody else?

I hate it when the striker whose preferred moves is "hits with power" tamely shoots at the goalie ... Worse of all, is there any way we can make the player takin penalties able to go for the rebound ... it seems like the defenders always reach it faster - actually none of my team go for the rebound ... they just walk back to the middle ...

............a few days before the 1st leg of oceana nations final my player returns to my squad and amazingly is available for my selection on the same day as the 1st new zealand game... a small investigation later and i discover that he is banned for one international match... so i can only assume that the new zealand squad had to be re-picked for the last two fixtures of the tournament (due to the ridulous length of time between fixtures) and my player wasn't picked because of his suspension....

so many emotions, obviously i'm thrilled my star midfielder is back and available for united selection :D:D... but immensly frustrated that new zealand kept my player for two months, waiting for a fixture he wasn't even eligable for:S:@

luckily it hasn't de-railed my title bid(H)(H)

That is **** annoying. There is such a long time between fixtures because they play the group stages, then go back and play club footie before the final.

Obviously you have been caught out by some kind of a bug in the Engine, because he should have returned to your club between the last fixture and the 1st leg of the final.

Okay my first World Cup with Uruguay in 2014 I pick the 23 players but in a friendly about 10 days before the cup Cavani gets a broken leg and Maxi Pereira out for 5 weeks. In the 10 days 3 other players are injured for 5 weeks each and I am not allowed to replace one of the 5 injured players so I go into the cup with 18 players. And then in a group match vs France both my cbs are sent off and my best player so far out for 10 days but I'm out anyway in a tough group with Portugal and France.... and Canada lol. Of the 23 players picked there were 15 players available for the last match of the group :/

not geting to manage the england team in sted they pic some useless **** who a lowe rep then me and when the sack him and give me the job i refuse it should of hired me in the first palce morons

The worst part is Ronaldinho, Kaka and others being managers at age of 37 ... Give me a break man ... Never gonna happen ... In my save, Mexes is manager of Roma, Shearer is manager of England, Brazil has Ronaldinho ... Doesn't make sense ... C'mon definitely they ll be coaches first and then become managers ... Even worse - Arsene Wenger retires even before Sir Alex and Arsenal appoint Juande Ramos (former Spurs) as manager ... Its absolute stupidity ... If i am not able to sign a ex-Liverpool as coach or a ex-ManC as coach, why allow ex-Spurs as Manager of Arsenal ... (I am ManU)

The other thing is Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea trying to sign each others players and my players - not gonna happen (unless you are Cole) IRL ...
