when you do really well in one season then the next when you have strengthened your squad you do terribly oh and last minute goals

In my save, Wolves are the big team in Europe ... They were ripped apart by Roma in the QF of UCL 4-0 and come 2nd leg at Molineux, they have defeated Roma on penalties ...
 
penalty shootouts annoy me really much because you always lose and you always take the first pen :/
 
no ******* goal line technoligy, and refrees/ linesman that need glasses... CHEATS
 
ok in the match before a huge match half your squad is injured, also all the big matches in a short period like you play the big four in EPL in like 15 days or some...
 
I can't get through a ******* season in my current story. I keep getting crash dumps. I've tried this save like 6 times.

I finally thought I had the right amount of leagues loaded because the days were processing fast. I get past the January transfer window and DUMP! Ugh, when I had 60 freaking leagues loaded I got half way through the first summer, now with less I can barely get to 2010.............
 
Delete every downloaded file mate.

This happened to me and just be more careful with what you download. ;)
 
I have another save with just as many leagues, with the same downloads, and I'm in year 2018.

I think it has more to do with the fact I'm running Italian Serie D, it's got like 10 divisions.
 
Really felt the need to post as this one left me absolutely fuming just now. Playing as porto, my group was drawn.. bayern, man city and macabi haifa. Demolished haifa first game, next game was away to bayern. Went 1-0 down after 6mins, but managed to go in at half time 2-1 up!

60th minute, David Addy gifts them a penalty, which they score, AARRGHH DEFIOWRIF2R2. The thing that ****** me off is that his preferred move is dives into tackles, which he refuses to unlearn! Subbed him right off.

To my amazement in the 85th min, a screamer put me 3-2 up! So what happens? Fernando concedes another penalty, in the 91st minute, and I draw 3-3. Words can't describe my anger. I even had Cautious tackling set, and "stay on feet" shout.

What makes things worse is that last season, I finished 3rd in my group and went out, ultimately because Otamendi condeded a penalty which lost me 2 points. With another tough group I can see the same thing happening again. Stupid twats.
 
late goals happen a lot in the game at high levels.

I'm sure I posted my story of my group draw in this thread. All I had to do was tie AC Milan to advance (and they wouldn't), I'm up 2-0. 80 minutes, ACM gets one back. 85, they tie 2-2. 92 minute they get a well placed free kick on the edge of the box...Mat Rits who is like 21 at the time, nails it to go up 3-2 and eliminate me while they advance.

So basically, the higher rep team, at my field, came back 3 goals down in 12 minutes (and on a FK no less). This result just so happened to qualify them, and knocked me out.
 
right a while ago i got swansea promoted and got 14.5 mill to spend to avoid relagation but i did better finnished top half and the start of the third season i got 25 million and bought aload of wordclass players e.g neymar , lung jr , and the season before that bought sanchez so i had a pritty decent quad for europe andthem half way throught that season my laptop get a virus so i had to get it all reset 4getting about backing up my save so i have to start agen so i got them promoted agen sunday night but this time insead of 14.5 mill i get 325k and wage budget of 190k but my wage budget is already gone over that because the players contract had 25% rase so i 4t id start agen to try and get that 14.5 mill so i got them promoted agen last night and got 1.1 mill and a wage budget gone over agen but if i got rid of any more players i wudnt of had enough 4 a full team so i just started again as southend :@:(
 
my team always claim 'im not giving them enough credit' when my team talks are unbelievably more then fair.
 
yeah, i get the "not enough credit" instance, then i praise the top players in my club with the best praise you can give and then in the inbox it says "he has been briilant but there is still room for improvement" and then the player is less than amused with the comment.. i mean, come on.. give me a break!

It's a well known fact around here that you should skip ALL player unveiling conferences.
 
Absolutely battering a big team, score a fair goal that is ruled offside, then conceding a contentious penalty or offside goal! Also my team having 17 shots...2 on target even with teams like Barca, Real, Man Utd etc. Thats after I've said work the ball into the box. Also the oppositions goalkeepers are permanently man of the match!
