but you are the manager from a certain start date (cant remember if mid June or July) If your like me you know of certain "cheap but top quality" buys or wonder kids that you would buy in real life, and hate when another club buys them. then their price goes up and/or you cant buy them for another 2 years.
Also why are the real life results not kept the same up to the release date if you like this kind of update. I understand your preference , but there should be another choice.
 
Iv'e tried out to of the proven tactics from the tactics forum and still only one 2 games in 10 with Chiapas USA. Any advice? I mean obviously they aren't the best team on the game but they're better than this!! If someone could help me out that would be fab! Cheers :)

Interesting to learn that!

I try every single season to get Messi to jump ship to Real Madrid (rather stupidly). I always have my offer accepted (I'm on good terms with the Barca manager and do offer a rather exorbitant amount...) but Messi always refuses my contract offer. FMRTE becomes more tempting by the day, haha!

This actually happened to my opposition, I just thought it was incredibly harsh:

My player got injured, so we put the ball out of play for a throw in. They gave it back to my team and from the resulting move we scored. The player who took the throw in got blamed for the goal, saying his poor throw in resulted in the goal, when in fact he was exercising good sportsmanship. Just seems a bit unfair, especially as he played badly from then in the match and his rating dropped considerably despite him doing nothing wrong.
 
i got something bad when playing charlton athletics..in semifinal LC met Man.City...in FA met Man.Utd...not a good start..n make me FRUSTATED...aaaarrrrgggghhhhhhhhhhh:@:@:@:@:@

ffs. Im Roma 2nd season, and im having a bad month. Draw with atalanta, and 3-2 3-1 losses to Lazio and AC Milan AT HOME ffs. I was second in the table, now im fifth, and Milevskyi and Totti are just standing in the box having an angry wank rather than scoring, and De Rossi does **** all too.
 
**** strikers are beginning to **** me off surely when you start playing football when you are younger, the first part you learn is how to shoot

Also this run of results, 1-0, 0-1, 1-0, 0-1 now i dont mind patterns some are quite nice to look at but this pattern please **** off
 
I hate some of the ridculous scorelines you get.

Once, I was in the Championship and Scunthorpe - Cardiff ended 7-9.
Im sorry, but that would simply never happen in a professional match in the Championship. Scunny ent that **** in defence, and Cardiff aren't that good up front!

Once or twice a month, the press ask me if I interested in signing Jari Litmanen. Every time, I tell them "I'm not interested"

And then a week later, I get the email saying "Cheezymadman in dream world, says he wants to sign Jari Litmanen"

What the ****?

Try, using counter attacks.
I find this works quite well when playing away from home, espeically against sides better than you.
Or 5 in midfield, whilst switching one of the midfielders to play behind the striker, every now and again during the match!

On my Birmingham season, I keep getting linked with Goalkeepers when I have, Joe Hart, Maik Taylor, Colin Doyle, Artur Krysiak. Seems to me as though I have some pretty decent back up keepers!

Or am I blind?

thats exactly the sort of stupid thing we would do...

my main frustration: about 60% of the time i make a big money signing, he will get injured for about 5 months. ah well, not gonna complain too much as fm is quality :)
 
I'm Germinal Beerschot. My board sold 3 of my youngsters in the January transfer window. Got 2.4m for them which I guess aint bad and I managed to replace them for 600k. Frustrating when I get them in the first team though then bigger European clubs come and steal without me negotiating for more.
