Just had enough now, would rather play 11 again. Everything is fine apart from the match engine, dominating games in possession and ccc's, I have no confidence in my team against any other opposition. Players like adebayor and leandro damiao never scoring 1 on 1s, only goals are coming from corners by dawson, but the computer always seems to score its 1 shot (almost always from a set-piece and not even counted as a ccc). Maybe a little exaggerated but I can't remember feeling like this with 11.

If my team got genuinely smashed off the field and the split view showed it I could live with that and try to improve something, but as it is, and with all the other match bugs (players running away from the ball, stupid own goals, balls bouncing off players backs) the matches are just no fun at all.
 
Every ******* time in the carling cup 4th round draw i get a hard prem team away and get knocked out really annoying as its a winnable cup :(
 
Finished 9th 1st season in prem....then 17th and got sacked. This game is sooooooooo incredibly scripted beyond belief!!!! :@


(acutally annoyed with myself as I didn't buy wisely in transfer window and didn't change tactics or anything).
 
I am frustrated about my fixtures... first season with City my last 5 fixtures were against Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Man Utd and Bolton. And if you take into account that I was at the semi-finals of Champions League and FA Cup, so my fixtures were Liverpool (PRM League), in two days Liverpool (FA Cup), in two days Chelsea (PRM League), in 4 days Bayern, in 3 days Arsenal... awful.

And now I'm about to start the 2nd season and I begin with Chelsea (Community Shield), Chelsea (PRM League), Arsenal, Man U, Liverpool. This time it will be better because of there are no games for other competitions.
 
Winning away from home is impossible, even the crappest team in the league suddenly starts playing total football when they are at home to me.

And why can't there be more realistic shouts like, "why did you pass it across your own box you **** head!"
 
Forgive me if I'm posting it in wrong place but that thig really frustrated me ;)
Why in Euro 2012 Poland and Ukraine are drawn into groups in a way that if they qualify they meet in quarterfinal?
And secondly, why there are no games played in Wrocław????
 
Different year, same old rubbish

Hmm, where to begin.... :D

  • Same old bugs that have been present for years in the match engine (too many offsides, disallowed goals, player ignoring the ball or doing stupid things etc etc)
  • Man Utd seem to be nigh on invincible in every single game I have played so far.
  • Every tactic I have tried has been the same result - team plays like Kevin Keegan on acid, leaking goals like a sieve no matter what I do, no matter what the tactic, no matter what the players.
  • Even though they have added in more team talk options, its still the same old old choices that never quite reflect what you want or what you should be saying at a particular point in time.
  • Rubbish player interaction means that most players react in the opposite to way to how a normal human being would - a psychologist would suspect most of my Arsenal team of being psychotic narcissists if he saw the sort of reaction the most innocuous comment can provoke.
  • All the usual hokey cod-psychology that SI have tried to shoehorn into the game year after year.
Really disappointed with this release. Judging by some of the reviews, I was lead to believe that a corner had been turned and some of the old FM/CM magic had been recaptured but this is the same old repackaged pap that they churn out every year. I remember when the Collyers were in charge every year there would be an outcry when it was discovered that they had coded Everton to be mysteriously quite good (the Collyers were Everton fans) and people moaned about it being unprofessional; I have to say, I would rather go back to that period when the game hadn't disappeared up its own **** and was actually, you know, fun to play.

Actually have a genuine frustration that's really getting on my nipples. Player/manager faces disappearing. Which started yesterday. It annoys me. Greatly.

Do they ever put a decent offer? **** no! It's the same with Hulk.


Why must I pay £30-40 Mil for Hulk when I'm not Porto, but when I am, I get offers ranging from £7-17 mil. Bullshit, and annoying!

I think you should complaint to the FA.. write a formal letter or something.. coz they seem really hate you in fm 12..
 
Dunno id anyone can help me. I have FOotballe manager 2012 on the psp, how to i start a new game, and manage the england team.?? Cheers
 
I'm Hibs, in my second season. We seem to continually dominate games yet can't seem to win. My personal favorite was a cup final against Kilmarnock, we had 15 shots on goal, 55% of the possession. They had 4 shots on target and I get beat 4-1. Is this my tactics fault, my players being hopeless or it just being a glitchy match engine? I'm totally bemused by this!
 
Match engine seems perfectly fine to me, i won the championship with portsmouth first season and just starting out in the premiership. So im not sure why everyones complaining and "glitches" meaning they get beat all the time. Perhaps your tactics are a bit off???

please help me out, i'm frustrated about match prep, i'm in my second season, on the first with a mid table portuguese team i won the league, and now i'm in the champions league, and i want to add another tactic, and when i do the players position changes, and i can't seem to get it right. help me out please

So I have some youngsters that I want to send out on loan, including one who needs a work permit. I go to 'offer to clubs' and then loan, and the option where it says 'target human clubs' just says "all human clubs" and I can'
t actually pick any specific clubs. Should I be able to?

Also I have a feeder club in Belgium, I am managing a PL team, so it would be perfect to send a player there who needs a work permit, but I don't know how to offer to that specific club???

If I try to offer to all clubs, no one takes up the offer, very frustrating! Please help me!

If you go to the player and click on the squad dropdown it should say move to affiliate and then select which feeder club to send him to. (you need to have a club with agreement to send player on loan for WP's if thats what you're trying to do.
 
team has 2 games left and we are #1 in league. We are on a bit of a slide

My assistant says I should hold a team meeting.

I tell them calmly that they are doing okay but we need to finish strong.

25+ players respond badly.

I ask captain for a word, and he agrees with me and morale improves

I ask room and a player says the captain was exactly right and morale improves

I respond by saying that was the sort of reaction I was after and morale plummets for every single ******* player.

I want to rip my hair out. It makes no ******* sense.
 
Why?! When i have a regen at 18, hows stats who are not far off messi's.. Is his reccomendation 2 stars?!?! :/
 
I am Tottenhamm top of the league by 4 points with 4 games to go. My last two games are Man U at Home (who are 2nd) then Chelsea away, so i am intent on getting more than a 6 point margin by that point to keep my stress levels down.

I come up against QPR at White Hart Lane and fully expect to pass them off the pitch, down the tunnel and back to Shepherd's bush. I certainly fulfilled my prophecy of passing them off the pitch stats as follows:

Possestion 64%
Defence passing 90%
Midfield passing 92%
Forwards passing 87%

However.....

Tottenham: Shots 23, SOT 12, CCC 5 Woodwork 3, long shots ONLY 4!!! 0 goals

QPR 3 shots, 2 SoT, 0 CCC's, Woodwork 0, 2 goals (goalline scramble from corner and a 35 yard rocket from the left back......)

This has happened to lesser degrees before and I found i can counter it by fiddleing with my strikers mentality, making them drop deeper in some games to keep the defence guessing but complete dominance should deserve a reward, match engine clearly needs tweaking.
