I don't own FM12 yet because I promised my mom to only use 120£ this month :( It's soon November though and I actually use some of my time doing my homework now :P

i wanted to make a new game so i created one, i hit save and for some reason it decides to overwrite the save file of another game it did not even ask me to name the save for this new game it just went and did it by it's self.......
 
Won't let me access the game; just telling me its unavailable and to try again another time.

****** typical as its been the first time in a week I have had the time to actually play it :/

Hey mate i've had the same problem a few times, try closing steam and then restarting it, this has worked for me.

its boring, nothing in the game hooks me in like it used to, added to many features and has lost that sense of old fm/cm where you just got stuck in with a few clinical details and you were hooked with your team like it was part of you. It is just not a very good version i think
 
I really ain't that impressed by FM2012. There is nothing interesting that really hooks you up on it and the new layout is more confusing than practical. There is also way too many injuries, which got me to quit my current game in frustration. There is still way to many yellow and red cards in the game. SI needs to do some serious work here.

I was of the same mind when I first got my hands on the game but honestly I'm past that point now. In the early season injuries are too frequent, but that's mostly due to players being unfit, I even managed to get Saha to play 35 league games in a row (That should be a Steam achievement...). Cards... really depends on your match strategy. I'm always among the 10 teams with the least amount of cards in the league, often go a full season without a red.

But what really, really hooked me up is youth developement. It's become a lot more interesting, first team action produces massive improvements on the players, and I mean really, really massive improvements. Players on loan can tutor your kids, so you can loan that old guy with a buncho of PPMs, pay only 50% of his wages and get him to tutor your kids. Individual training has become a much more powerful tool as well, I upped a player's Stamina by 5 in a year, which is a lot.

Then again, I don't really play with major teams and try to win everything and splash out on stars but rather play with mid-table, poor-ish teams at most, and do some sensible investment in youngsters I can mould into potential stars. Everyone plays the game his own way and it's no wonder not everyone is satisfied by every version.
 
******* Agents, might as well charge me an arm for wanting to sign a **** Argie center back. Playing a **** 2nd league Portuguese team (yeah i'm a realist). I wanna sign this free agent center back and the ******* agent wants 40,000 in wages!!! Greedy ***** the whole bunch. That's it i'm following rugby from now on, no more football!!!
 
Installation

Not sure if this is in the right place, but it defiantly comes under frustration. I un-installed the game due to computer problems and now I cant re-install as it says my activation key has already been used. i have looked online and nobody seems to no of any solutions. Please help me, I NEED FM IN MY LIFE!!!
 
Made it through a Champions League group stage (as Ajax), a group containing AC Milan, Real Madrid and some Greek mob, played Marseille in the next round, won the first game 3-1 and the in the following league games I had various injuries to my defenders and had to go to Marseille and hold on to the 3-1, ended up having to play an attacking midfielder at left back and despite dominating the game, I lost 2-0 and got put out on away goals.

Gutted, as I rarely do well in the Champions League.
 
My half-season savegame turned out to be broken - I got the message that "savegame could not be loaded". Just great...
Anyway, is there or will there be any bug-related topic? Still there's lot about - first example, it's quite annoying, when you read in mid of October, that "Polish national player is out for 7 weeks due to injury, he will not be able to play in forthcoming UEFA Euro Championship and Polish national team needs to find replacement soon"...
 
Needing a goal to get something out of a match, the striker has got to the ball in the edge of the area and there's no defender between him and the goal, beside the goalkeeper, the only defender is some way to his side and a bit behind, the striker was onside, you think "YES! THIS MAY BE IT!!" and the referee blows the end.

Did you install with Steam?
 
I like the game a lot :) but in the next football manager 2013 you need to make an easier way to play online with friends on please! I've tried so many times, but I just can't figure out how, and I can see there are many other who want's too play on a network too but they can't figure out how to. A detailed instruction would be fine, but I hope for improvements on that part when the next game comes out.
 
I had like a total of 7 injuries all at one, from 1-3 months, Hamsik, Young, Hernandez and Rooney were all injured at once just to name a few. Wayne Rooney comes back from a 3 month injury, in his third or so game back, he gets re-injured for 4 months. :O ARE YOU SERIOUS BRO?
 
SI should have paid me to play this game, because it's really ******* me of with the constant injuries.

All my strikers are injuried, what the ******* **** man!!!!!!!!!!!!!! **** THIS ****!!
 
I've had some bad luck with injuries. Bought Quaresma as cover for Ribery and Robben. In his 2nd game got a broken foot which put him out for 4 months. To make things worse, Ribery broke his foot aswell in the next game which put him out for 4 months.

I seem to be getting an injury every other game, not as big as these though.
