Hi TFF!

This tactic is just amazing!

I read at SI forum that the current patch we have in Beta is Release Candidate. Does it mean that ME won't change tomorrow?

Managing Lyon just finished first season, after changing to latest version i had trouble scoring. lots of chances but lost many games 1-0 against weaker teams. tac 90percent fluid from start. Lots of creativity in the squad.

Will there be any tweaks today?

Hey! I glad to hear it works good for you.

Yup, that's right. We have Release Candidate in Beta and this mean that probably ME won't change tomorrow or there might be some small insignificant changes.

Mate, I can say only say one thing that right now this tactic gives you the best chances on success taking in account the quality of your players you have but believe me or not it's totally up to you. ;)

TFF9, are you truly done with tactics until next big ME change? You've said similar stuff before (on FM15) and then we kept getting new tactics and newer versions of older tactics every few days. :D

I've tested all possible approaches so far and this one gives the best chances on success under current ME.

So for me there's nothing left to test right now. :)

Have you ever explained your testing and tactics creation process? That'd be intriguing to hear.

Guys, I've added Filters to the OP.

Also I've slightly tweaked the Recommend Attributes for positions so I recommend to check it out, especially, the recommended attributes for Wing Backs.

Please notice that the level and number of attributes that you see in the filters might be different from what you see at the OP in the Recommend Attributes section because the recommended attributes at OP are supposed to give you a general understanding what king of players you need for every positions and what attributes are the most important for them and the filters have slightly lower requirements in order to increase the pool of players to choose from.

With the attacking version you first released (V2 I think) and the defensive version (with a cdm, two cm's and two strikers) I got great results with Sassuolo on this ME version. 6 W, 1 D and 1 L. After I switched and started using this new base version I'm doing bad. 2 W, 2 D and 6 L. The tactic is fluid, and I don't know why it's going like this. This was supposed to be the best version, but I can't really agree to it.

Everybody know that when you flip a coin there's 50% probability to get "head" and 50% probability to get "tail".

It might happen that you flip a coin about 15 times and you get 15 "heads" in row! Yes, the probability of that is very small but it's possible so you might think that there's 100% probability to get "Head" when you flip a coin.

In order to get a more accurate information about the probability to get "Head" or "Tail" when you flip a coin you must to flip a coin about 300 times and only then you'll see that there's 50% probability to get “head” and 50% probability to get "tail".

If you use "brutal force" approach to test tactics then you need to replay the match vs same team about 300 times.

If you test tactics during normal game play when you play vs different teams and every match the conditions change then I would say you need to play about 2 000 matches in order to get more or less accurate statistic.

Heh... It's very naïve to think that it's possible to test any tactic just using "brutal force" approach playing about 10-20 matches and if such was possible we won't have thousand tactics posted every year because the best possible approach would be seen very clearly.

Mate, just think about it... :)

So you test your tactics in 2000 matches before realizing they're good enough or not? :D

Hehe TFF9, enjoyed reading that. Anyway I just feels my team play much worse. With the attack version I smashed Napoli and Roma, but I only scored like 1 goal in 4 games vs relegation teams with the basic one. I liked the wing backs on attack. Now they play way to deep and never cross and make width making runs. They will just stand with the ball in their feet and pass it forward, instead of wanting to attack themselves. It's not like I have world class strikers, they need supply. That's my biggest issue I think.

And my defenders omg. In the last game my cb backheeled the ball right to their striker like wtf. What can I do to that? I know they don't fit as ball playing defenders, but I don't want to mess around and destroy the tactic. And also my CAM is doing ****, he was great when he was in the middle and a shadow striker.

Of course not! :)

It's total stupidity to test tactic during a normal game play... it's like an attempt to guess a password that consists of 8 symbols... everybody understand that it's just simple waste of time. :)

I test by method that allows at reasonable short period of time to get an accurate picture. Probably at some point in the future I'll describe this method but I'm not sure that this forum is an appropriate place to do that...

Also, please notice that ME hasn't changed much compare to FM16 and many things were already tested by me and well know so I didn't have to test this ME from scratch... just some elements have changed and I adjusted my approach according to it... that's all.

Since the new patch, defenders seem to have more trouble tracking runs. Crosses to the far post seem deadly, especially on the counter. Have you noticed this?

I've seen many reports that the big change from initial FM16 beta to this latest updated ME is that they nerfed all the super attacking tactics that swarmed the forums last year and this year in initial days of beta.
