How do you stop a player thathas two goals in a match already from taking a penalty to get a hattrick? The player isnt my main penalty kick taker.

let him take it, they score 99% of the time I have noticed, well 100% for me actually.. dont think you can mate! why not let him? he is in good form....

You cant stop him :) But, like Raikan, I have noticed they score in 9/10.

It's a ***** when your main striker is close to beating Pongo Waring's league goal record though!

Sub him off, greedy *******.

when the penalty is awarded, there is not enough time for the sub to be made, it would only happen after the spot kick has been taken :)

Sub him after his second goal :P

I'm pretty sure if you make a priority list of penalty takers this won't happen (it's only happened to me once when the top 3 of my pen takers weren't playing - Dzeko missed a 90th minute spot kick to make it 3-2 when he was already on 2 goals).

It does happen even with a priority list, I had Darren Bent as my pen taker and both him and Neymar were on 2 goals in the match and Neymar took it. I'm guessing Neymar got onto 2 goals first and that determined who took it.
