Preventing staff from leaving

Good day,people. I am currently managing Liverpool (2nd Season in charge). Some of my staff eg Steve Clarke (my assitant coach at that time) left to become a head coach at another club and one of my youth coach has also left for Man City if i'm not mistaken. Is there anyway to prevent that from happening? Need your help. Thanks.
