Can the przie money for winning a comp be edited ?

Short answer is aye it can but you need to know how to use the advanced rules in the editor to do so, which to be fair isn't all that difficult to edit the prize money.

Cna you make it possible for league winners to enter a different euro comp? Ie, say straight into the Europa League instead of the champs league.

Once your in the advanced mode there will be an option in the league for prize money and you can set exact amounts for each position within the league.

Help with Prizes

Hey Guys,

I've just migrated back from Fifa Manager and now I'm trying to get around the new features of FM2014. I have spent some time now trying to figure out how to edit the prizes in the league and cups using the official editor. Managed to input some figures in the leagues but it didnt show up during the game.

Could you guys give me hand explaining how to do it properly?

Did you use the advanced rules and pick the new database at game creation ?

Hi, Thank you! Well, when I open the editor I load the 14.3 database which i use with a transfer update(EdtFile) and when I go to Rules the ADVANCED RULES sub menu is grayed out.

I managed to edit the prizes on a Japan editor file..but on the database I cant. If I load the transfer update happens the same.

Appreciate any help!

Do any of the changes you make appear under the league rules?

In a seperate issue, some of the Japan rules are hard coded, and may not take.

Yeah, when I edit the Japan file as well as a Qatar and UAE files I managed to go to advanced rules and under League Settings Im able to change the league prizes.

BUT for instance..if I want to change the prizes for England, Brazil, Spain..or even the Champions League how can I do it since advanced rules are not possible for the database?

You'd have to create a datebase file for each nation and add nation and advanced rules, country by country.

the fixtures self generate when you add the leagues, its a bit of work but not muhc
