Problem to Launch

Hi, I've been playing the game for months now. All of a sudden when launching the game it starts loading with the usual screens but before it comes on the main menu it stops and goes back to the desktop. When I tey loading again it the already running window. I maanged to "solve" the last part from the task manager by ending the FM process which I found in Processes tab and not applications.

I have tried to reinstall FM and updated the patches but still no luck. Does anyone have any suggestions please. I play throught original disk.
