Problem with Jack Wilshere + Updating the players and teams to 2014

i'm managing West Ham. and i've tried many times over different saves, and i can't get Jack Wilshere to agree to even negotiate a contract with me which is a bit odd since i can buy other players from arsenal (ramsey, chamberlain and so forth). even after a few years when i get the team promoted and their reputation up (even continental) and we'll play in champions league he still doesn't wanna come. any1 know why? any1 mangaged to buy him with west ham?

i managed to get him playing leeds after a year when i got promoted..

any know what gives?

if someone knows what to download to change the game so that the players will be in their right teams with the right attributes according to today, and also how to make that work, please tell me

Not ever tried to sign him for West Ham, but maybe it is down to the the fact they are rival 'ish' teams?

He may have West Ham as one of the teams he dislikes that would probably prevent him from signing.
