Problem with Wage for new Assistant Manager? Help!

Basically I'm Dartford FC, recentley got promoted from Blue Sq South and playing the last game of pre-season now.

Still havent got a Assistant Manager simply because the board won't let me pay for then £365 in wages!

I don't get why, seeing as my wage budget is £29,500 and I'm only spending £8,250 of it!

Plus the Transfer/Wage slider is as far as it can go wage wise.

Anything to sort this out?

I've had a similar problem.
Playing as Coventry City, began a season 32.5k under my wage budget, so could offer loads for players, yet for staff members the most I could offer a coach was £825 :/
Bug in the game perhaps? Very annoying anyway, the quality of your staff really suffers.
