Problems with Youth Training

Hi folks, long time player of the FM series.

I cant seem to get any of my players into a youth trainign schedule.

I imported a couple of training shcedules and created my own youth schedules

The schedules show up on the training screens and when I am trying to allocated players to training regimes via there own panel.

THe problem is that the youth training schedules are blanked/greyed out, irrespective if its a senior, reserve or u19 player and I am not able to allocate any player to the youth schedules.

I hope i have been clear and hope someone can help.

i think the players have to be on a youth contract or full time youngster

I am Rangers.

I have even restarted the game and checked again and I cant seem to allocate players to do youth training even if they are in the u19 squad.

I started a new game after 10.3 , got the same problem with youth training , reinstalling does no good, i opened editor database has all players on full time contracts when in fact almost all under 19's should be on youth contract, don't know if this could lead to big problems in europe after a few seasons, also you can't offer youth contract to any youths you sign and signing on fee option can't be adjusted. I loaded all scottish divisions plus english premier , i retired as manager and took control of arsenal to see if the problem existed there but it was ok , going to create game with a few countries to see if this is only a scottish problem
