This thread is to point some people in the right direction when it comes to graphics. I have listed the Programs, aswell as some sites that you should use for your graphics.

PROGRAMS FOR CREATING GRAPHICS
You can use Paint to make some graphics, but it isn't recommended. There are three programs that you should look at. One is by far the best in the world, but you have to pay, and the other two are free alternatives.

ADOBE PHOTOSHOP website
The worlds best graphics program, hands down.
PROS - Has every tool you will ever need to make any type of graphic for FM. Many effects, including bevel, emboss, shadowing, aswell as lighting effects such as lens flare.
CONS - It's expensive

Download the free 30 day trial HERE

MY RATING - 10/10

GIMP website
GIMP is a versatile graphics manipulation package. A free version of Photoshop, although I cant really comment, as I have never used it.
PROS - It's Free
Supports PSD files, which all templates are saved as.
CONS - Interface is more complicated than Photoshop's
Slightly harder to learn to use

Download it HERE

MY RATING - 8/10

SUMOPAINT website
SumoPiant is a online, more advanced version of Paint. I have never used it, but you can create some nice graphics on there. It can be downloaded, but you need to pay to have that privilege.
PROS - Online, meaning it doesnt take up Hard Drive Space
Some very nice effects
Easy to use
CONS - Doesnt support PSD

MY RATING - 5/10

There's also Paint.net which is free.

I'm currently using Adobe photoshop cs4 portable. It's free and you don't need to install it also (H)
