Promising regen not getting any better

He seems incredibly promising, my scouts are saying he will be as good as Hummels. However, I his stats aren't improving. What should I do?

Change his training schedule, lend him out so he can get 1st team exp.

Loan him out? I think I read somewhere that loaning him out is a bad idea.

I let my youths on loan very rarely. They don't get the right training, not so good training facilities.

Just make sure he gets loaned out to a team where he will "be a valuable member of the 1st team" and that they have good training facilities. That will do him more good than sitting around in your reserves
