As stated in the title, this is a proposed challenge and, therefore, has not been finalised as an official one.Like Kris and his Ajax challenge,I have decided, once again,to do something rather similar. This is called the Premier League challenge. Please read thoroughly before posting constructive criticism.Thank you.
Here is the basics of the challenge:
The main objective of this challenge is to manage as many teams in the Premier League as possible within ten seasons, with the ending of the challenge being at the end of the 2014-15 season. It doesn't matter whether the current Premier League teams get relegated or you do,the main objective is to manage as many as you can.
Following onto that, there are rules that will be enforced to ensure that this does not becoming boring and overdrawn to some that are doing it.Here they are:

Following onto that, there are rules that will be enforced to ensure that this does not becoming boring and overdrawn to some that are doing it.Here they are:
Rules:
- In the first season of the challenge, you cannot manage Manchester United,Chelsea,Arsenal,Liverpool or Manchester City. This is so that people have to work for it to get to the heights of such clubs and avoids people using their big budgets to capture some of the world's best players.
- With the restrictions of those five clubs being managed in the first season, they also come with sub-rules.Those are; you cannot manage one of those clubs for more than two years following for three seasons and then that rule will apply to whoever finishes in the top four afterwards (basically, after the 2012-13 season, you can manage Chelsea,Arsenal,Liverpool,Manchester United and Manchester City for more than two seasons if they do not finish in the top four.)
- You cannot manage a club,in general for more than three seasons. This rule applies to all clubs, not just the top four. This is so that people playing the challenge can swtich clubs and move on to the next whilst keeping ahead with the rules.
- You must purchase at least two domestically-based players every season - no matter which club.Extra points will be added should the domestically-born player is 23 years or below.
- You cannot purchase a player for more than £50million.The rule still applies with monthly installments over (x) amount of months.
- If you are relegated with a team at the end of the season, you can still continue with the challenge, but points will be deducted from the final score at the end of the challenge. The rule still applies if you are sacked during the season.
- You cannot manage any international teams that are within the top 50 of the current World Rankings in your current game. For example,if Spain were to offer you a job as manager of their national team and they had just won the World Cup,then you must reject it.A team that is 50th in the World Rankings can be managed though.
- You cannot exceed the amount of ten saves of your current challenge.
- You must post your current position in the game every season. This prevents spamming on the thread.
- +10 points should you win the Premier League.
- +10 points should you win the F.A. Cup.
- +5 points should you win the Carling Cup.
- +10 points should you finish inside the top four with a team predicted outside it.If you manage Chelsea,Arsenal,Liverpool,Manchester City and United within the five seasons and finish in the top four, you will only gain one point.
- +5 points for finish in the top half of the Premier League table.
- +2.5 points added for every English player in your team at the end of the season.+1 point for every Scottish,Welsh or Irish and +0.5 for every foreigner.
- +15 points for winning the UEFA Champions League.
- +10 points for winning the UEFA Cup/Europa League.
- +25 points for winning the World Cup.
- +15 points for winning your continental competition when ranked outside of the media predictions. (For example,if you win Euro 2012 with San Marino and you are ranked as an outsider, then you'll gain the fifteen points).
- +10 points for winning the Club World Championship.
- +2.5 points for every player inducted into the Premier League team of the year.+5 for ones inducted in the international team of the year.
- -5 points for being relegated at the end of the season.
- -5 points for being sacked during the season or in pre-season.
*** At the end of the challenge, for every +20 points scored for the people who finished inside the top three of the final rankings,£2 will be donated to a selected charity of choice via democracy vote***
Deadline of challenge: 31st April 2010 (if it goes ahead)
Enjoy.
Please feel free to post your ideas, thoughts and how it could be improved, however, constructive criticism.
