PS3 Broke

Ok my PS3's (I have two) have stopped reading games. They read DVD's and CD's and I have tried everything to try and get them working again. Any suggestions? I'm thinking of trading them in and getting a new one? Good Choice?

Disc reader is broken, going by what you've said. though a bit more information wouldn't hurt.

Are they still under warranty? Give Sony a call and they'll fix them, and send you a replacement if they are unable to.

same thing happened to me mate sent it to sony to get fixed but the gits sent it back still broken claiming they fixed it so I had to get a new one

Only time this happened to me was my ancient PS2 that stopped reading discs a month before the Xbox 360 came out.
Call Sony and I'd imagine they would fix it for you.

Sorry I've not been on in a few days. I'm not under warranty anymore, my laser thingy, not got a clue how to fix but if I had to dismantle it then I don't think it's worth it. I've also been told that you have to pay to get it fixed off Sony if its not under warranty?? And I'm a Playstation faithful:L dont like the xbox to be honest. And it's not to do with the games because my newest one is F1 2010 (released in Aug/Sept??). Also it now and again works but I haven't done anything significant to make it work?

hey, you can buy the ps3 games hdd which is full of 95 gams in r4king.
