On July 10, 2023, I took the helm as the head coach of PSG. The board has set clear expectations for me. Above all, they want the team to win Ligue 1 and triumph in the Champions League. The very first thing I did was devise a tactical plan. I do not rule out the possibility that this strategy may evolve as the season progresses. Here is my tactical setup:

433 FOX TI - in possession.webp

433 FOX TI - in transition.webp

433 FOX TI - out of possession.webp

----------

Next, I made significant changes to the staff. I dismissed Rafel Pol (assistant manager), Aitor Unzue (assistant manager and performance analyst), Luca Cattani (head of youth development), and Jean-Luc Aubert (goalkeeping coach), who, in my opinion, did not align with the team's vision. In their place, I brought in fresh faces. Miguel Quaresma became the new assistant manager. Additionally, I hired Hugo Oliveira, Pavlo Yakowenko, João Tralhão, Dennis Bergkamp, Nuno Gomes, and Mohamed Hassouni. Denis Arnaud was appointed as the head of youth development.

As for my players, I decided not to make any purchases during the summer transfer window.

The start of the season looks promising: three games in Ligue 1 and three victories.

Without a moment’s hesitation, I extended Kylian Mbappé’s contract until June 2028. There’s absolutely no chance a footballer of his caliber would depart Paris.

I made the decisive move to part ways with Kévin Louaisil (he’ll leave on a free transfer to Chambly this winter). Additionally, I terminated the contracts of Gaël Nlundulu, Abdoulaye Samassa, Nassiama Sissoko, and Louis Lapouge.

Here are my played matches:

Here's a summary of our winter transfer window activity. I secured a €24 million deal for Carlos Soler’s move to AC Milan, and Fabián followed suit with a €24 million transfer to Chelsea. Earlier, I loaned Bradley Barcola to AS Monaco. Keylor Navas departed on a free to Club de Fútbol América due to his exorbitant wages, while Nordi Mukiele was sold to Atlético de Madrid for €14 million. On the incoming front, I acquired Ladislav Krejčí from Sparta Prague for €9.25 million. The first-team squad now stands as follows:

I finished the first season by winning Ligue 1 and the French Cup. Unfortunately, I struggled in the Champions League, getting eliminated in the Round of 16 by RB Leipzig.

Personally, I believe I don’t yet have a team capable of winning the Champions League. The squad needs reinforcements and additions. Therefore, it’s time for the summer transfer window. Financial matters are an important aspect for me. I am a manager who wants the club to become richer and richer with every season.

During the summer transfer window I didn't buy any players but sold several. Yoram Zague moved to Reims for €725,000. Presnel Kimpembe transferred to Club Atlético de Madrid for €24.5 million. Arnau Tenas joined Al-Qadsiah for €30 million. Ayman Kari went to Chelsea for €14.5 million (including bonuses). Gonçalo Ramos signed with Liverpool for €70 million. Sekou Doucoute was sold to Clermont Foot for €69,000 (including bonuses). Ismaël Garbi transferred to Porto for €7 million. Édouard Michut moved to Nantes for €1 million, while Noha Lemina joined Arsenal for €5.75 million (including bonuses). Lastly, Vimoj Muntu Wa Mungu was sold to Clermont Foot for €96,000.

Here are the transfers from the summer transfer window. Notable among them is the transfer of Pedro Porro for €89 million from Tottenham and the purchase of Phil Foden from Manchester City for €168 million.

I reached the Champions League final, where I lost to Real Madrid 2-3 after extra time. This is how the match unfolded.

Winning Ligue 1 comes easily to me. There's simply no competition in the league. However, when it comes to the Champions League, unfortunately, I lost in the final again. This time, Arsenal defeated PSG 3-0. In this match, PSG was clearly the weaker team, so Arsenal deservedly won.
