My Aims

• Use Celtic to dicate the progress and rise of the Scottish game by both doing well myself and helping fellow Scottish clubs along when I can
  

• Gain more success both domestically and on the Euopean front

• Improve the both the country's national coefficent ranking and the Scottish clubs ranking leading to more European places

• Produce top Scottish talents to make our national team a force with the aim to one day see the national side compete at the top level

• Improve the financies of the clubs to gain more stability and allow them to both produce more homegrown players and attract bigger names to the SPFL

Squad Evaluation

Goalkeepers

With only Caig Gordon up to a decent standard he will be my number 1 with the other two only getting action if Gordon gets injured. Ideally I would like to offload Zaluska and bring in a better back up keeper.

Defenders

Playing 4 at the back, I have 4 CB's who could all command a place in my team. Van Dijk will be a certain starter with Deneyer and Ambrose battling it out fo the other starting place as Mulgrew will be used more in midfield. Lustig and Matthews are both at the same level so it could be a rotation between the two when they are fit. At LB Izaguirre will be my regualar starter with Mulgrew deputising when needed.

Midfielders

With Brown, Biton, Berget, Johannsen, Mulgrew and Kayal all fighting for a CM spot I'm afraid at least 1 will have to be sold. There is no room for 6 CM's and with all of them on a good wage, one will have to go so that I can invest elsewhere in the squad. Also Callum McGregor is on the fringes and will be given a chance when the time is right. Out wide Forrest, Tonev, Wakaso and Commons will all get their chances with Boerrigter being sold hopefully.
Strikers

With playing two up front it gives me the options to rotate between 4 strikers who are good enough to bang in the goals for me. Will look to play include Griffiths a lot to benefit the national team.

A very convincing victory over the Faroe Islands side, a 13-0 thrashing in the second leg was a joy to watch! Great to see young Callum McGregor getting amongst the goals!


Third Qualifying Round

AB 1-1 Celtic

Not exactly delighted to be scrapping through on away goals but happy enough that we are guaranteed some sort of European football until Christmas, whether it be the Champions League Group Stages or the Europa League Group Stages.

Player of the Month

Callum McGregor

The youngster whom I have high ambitions for grabbed 6 goals and 2 assists in our first four Champions League games. Playing wide right in place of the injured James Forrest, if he continues this form he could make that place his own!

Only 1 signing coming in with Ben Amos being signed as back up to Gordon. I got rid of Zaluska as he was on double the wages Amos is receiving.
I also sent a load of my youngsters on loan to clubs where they will get first team football and aid their development.

Not the perfect draw and we'll do well to take anything in the 6 games. We're not expecting to take anything against Barcelona or Dortmund but if we could take something against Basel then a 3rd place finish could happen.
