HAYLOCK WALKS OUT, OUTRAGED AT LOAN FIASCO

garry-haylock-image-1-191121170.jpg

United manager Gary Haylock, has sensationally walked out of his post as Hayes and Yeading manager, ending a successful 3 year tenure, guiding the club into the Blue Square Premier, and also keeping them in the division. Fans are left shocked by this, and Gary made the reason for his departure very clear.

''I'm disgusted at the behavouir of not only Ben Wright, but also Crawley Town, I think it shows how money is the biggest thing in football. This is not the same game I fell in love with, so with regret, I am stepping down from my duties, and am retiring from football for now''

United recently signed Ben Wright from Peterborough on a three month loan. Crawley then sensationally bought the lad straight from Boro, breaking the loan agreement, leaving United with one recongnised striker.

Derek Goodall has yet to name a replacement, but all should be revealed in the next few days.

HAYES SHOCK FOOTBALLING WORLD, AS FORMER MISSIONER TAKES HOTSEAT

images

Declining Harry Redknapp's offer to stay on as a coach for Tottenham Hotspur, Les Ferdinand has shocked everyone by taking his first step into management, by taking the hotseat at his first football club, Hayes and Yeading United. It is clear to see he has not taken the job for the money, but for ambition and loyalty.

It is not clear as to the budget he will get, but cash will be tight, as Hayes and Yeading do not have the fans to back up huge wages or fees. The appointment is seen as a coo to the club, and one which could boost gates.

Chairman Derek Goodall was seen to be gleaming during the press conference, calling it the first step, for the total rebuild of the club. He also hopes Les can use his reputation to attract some bigger name players to Church Road.

FERDINAND USES REPUTATION TO BRING IN STARS

Kazenga%20LuaLua_633571765385781250.jpg

As was expected when Les Ferdinand took over at Hayes and Yeading, he has made full use of his strong links with Newcastle and Tottenham Hotspurs to sign 3 hot prospects on loan for the season. Oscar Jansonn, Kazenga Lualua and Anton Blackwood are all players that had it wouldn't have been for Les' arrival, could have possibly not joined.

In an interview, Kazenga said this: 'Of course Hayes isn't the greatest club, nor is it a place I want to spend the rest of my footballing career, but I see it as a big step in my career. The gaffer has a big say in this, and he is a Newcastle legend, and has promised me first team football; something which is essiential if I am to progress.''

Hayes are also in for Wealdstone (manor) u18 striker Frankie Hobbs, who has been talked for a move to championship teams. More on Frankie to come in next weeks issue, but for now its pinch yourself time for Missioners, as they revell in the glory of having a England International as coach.

Kazenga Lualua should ripp that league apart if you get him goodluck with this.

Spurs look set to offer Wealdstone Starlet a contract.

Spurs Want Hobbs

images

Harry Redknapp looks set to offer the Wealdstone starlet Frankie Hobbs, 14 a lucrative pre-contract agreement, in a sensational move to make him the youngest ever signing for Spurs. The big young striker, tipped to be the new Alan Shearer, claims to know nothing of Harry's interest, but is flattered nonetheless.

This interest from Spurs, seems to wipe out the proposed deals to either Barnet or Hayes and Yeading respectively. Despite the gulf in class, Frankie Hobbs says that if Spurs make him an offer, he will still have to think things over.

More to come soon on this sensational story.

I can imagine how that interview went lol.

"Yeah yeah, he's a twiffic lad, a real top top player, but nothings happened yet" XD

Good story btw (H)

HOBBS TURNS DOWN SPURS

Aldershot29299News2.jpg

In a sensational u-turn, Wealdstone hotshot Frankie Hobbs has turned down a 6-year offer from Barclays Premier League side Tottenham Hostpurs, to sign for Blue Square Premier Team

Many expected that the deal to take Frankie Hobbs was a done one, yet it has been revealed, local teenage wonderkid Frankie Hobbs has refused the chance to playing in the Champions league, only to move to a team who only attract 300 to 500 fans a game. A bemused Les Ferdinand showed off his new signing to the local press, and all the reasons for the signing were confirmed.

''This is a huge day for Hayes and Yeading. Signing a local lad like Frankie, whom has already had a run in the first team of a Ryman team, at the age of 14, is a big achievement in itself. But then compared to the fact he turned down the chance to one day pull on the white shirt I once did to play for the Red of Hayes, not only shows Loyalty, but also shows the ambition of the lad, to try and guide his local side into the new generation''

Frankie Hobbs, 14, broke into the Wealdstone side, after impressing during the club's u18 cup run. A big strapping 6''2 lad, who wears a big physical presence for a man of his age, is being tipped for the big time, said this:

''Despite much deliberation, I felt I could never play for Spurs, no matter what the situation. The rivalry between them and the club who I dream of is huge, and by joining Spurs, I would b betraying everything I stand for. Coupled with the chance of joining my other boyhood club, the descion to join Hayes over Spurs, was not a hard one. My hate for Spurs is so great, if I joined, I would end up hating myself. I can't join a team in which I want to lose''

HAYES LEAVE IT LATE TO SAVE FACE

vAFCW4.jpg

Hayes and Yeading ensured their season wouldn't start with defeat, by netting a 93rd minute equalizer to rescue a point against newly promoted Fleetwood Town.

In a strange situation, United wore their Yellow 3rd strip at home, and it seemed as if the home team were the visitors as Fleetwood took a lead through a tidy finish from pacy winger Jamie Mullan in the 10th minute.

Despite controlling posession throughout, United couldn't break down the solid defense, but Les Ferdinand's substituion of Daniel Wishart proved to be the one to rescue the missioners a point, with a great finish from an incisive break-away.

Final Score

United 1-1 Fleetwood

Hayes Suffer First Defeat Against Conference Giants

sponsor_03.jpg

Grimsby fans went into the game expecting a big win against minnows Hayes, yet United put up big fight, only to be let down by contentious penalty descion.

Despite battling all game, and matching Grimsby throughout, Hayes suffered their first defeat of the season and subsequently their first defeat under new boss Les Ferdinand. After a tight first half, a foul in the box by Bradley Pritchard gave Grimsby the chance to take the lead; one which they took, and saw out the game, despite a late fightback from the Missioners.

Final Score

Grimsby 1-0 United

I don't get the thread name, isn't London a City, not a town?

COWAN-HALL SIGNS ON LOAN WHILE UNITED DRAW WITH CAMBRIDGE

Action_DW.jpg

In a day in which Portsmouth striker Paris Cowan-Hall signed for United on loan, he could only watch his new teamates get a battling draw against a tough Cambridge side. Daniel Wishart scored again to cancel out an early penalty from Daryle Clare.

The second half was a tighter affair, and the substitution of Frankie Hobbs when Hayes went behind due to a Robbie Wilmott strike in the 51st minute seemed to pay dividend. Hobbs went on a mazing run, beating 2 before being hacked in the box. He showed maturity for his age, by slotting it into the bottom corner. United remain winless, yet will take some positives from their start.

Final Score

United 2-2 Cambridge

DEBUTANT MAKES DIFFERENCE AS UNITED RUN RIOT

1702455-vlarge.jpg

After 3 games without a win, United ended the streak with a comfortable 4-0 victory away at Tamworth. The start from Hayes was amazing, the quick wingers Ahmed Deen and Kazenga LuaLua were really running riot, and it was Deen who crossed for Lua-Lua to get his first for the club. He soon got his second from a through ball from Paris Cowan-Hall. The loanee got a goal on his debut to complete the first halfs goals. In the second, Hayes continued to dominate, but only got one goal, through a screamer from fans favourite James Mulley from 30 yards out. The victory was amazing, and should help raise spirits after a mediocre start to proceedings.

Final Score

Tamworth 0-4 United

Nice story Frankie. :)

LuaLua will be excellent for you. :)

Best of luck.

Cheers mate, he looks pretty good yeah. I like the new perspective story btw!

HOBBS NETS DREAM WINNER IN FRONT OF HAYES FAITHFUL

vBCFC2.jpg

In an even affair, United recorded back-to-back victorys with a 3-1 win over a Barrow side, with teen Frankie Hobbs netting the 2nd in the 80th minute, through some dodgy goalkeeping on the Barrow Side of things. Frankie was used as a substitute once again, with Ferdinand keen on not playing him too much. Cowan-Hall got his 2nd in two games by equalizing, then United caught Barrow on the break to give the Portsmouth starlet his 2nd of the game, after Hobbs gave the Reds a lead. A good win for Hayes, as they begin to get their season up and running.

Final Score

United 3-1 Barrow

LES' HAYES PASS WELSH TEST
vWFC1.jpg

Hayes and Yeading kept there 3 game unbeaten streak up by earning a credible point against a former league side Wrexham, in a classic England vs Wales battle. Wrexham had the better of the first half, but United took the lead through Goal machine Paris Cowan-Hall, netting his 4th in 3 games.

The Dragons came out in the second half and look determined to equilize, and they did that, through influential midfielder Dean Keats. A penalty for each side completed the scoring, and in the end, 2-2 was a fair result, and one which Les Ferdinand should be pleased with

Final Score

Wrexham 2-2 United
