I'm currently in my eighth season of FM 2010 and I am very keen on keeping this save file. However, my PC needs repairing and I am turning it in later today.

I'm wondering if it is possible to put my save file into a USB Stick and then, when the PC has been repaired, install FM and load the save file.

Thanks in Advance,
Rayyes

Yeah it's possible, I did it before after getting a laptop instead of my old computer. Some things like skin's etc you're better off leaving as you can just download them again, but take you're tactics and game files, everything else you can just download again.

Go to:
Documents > Football Manager 2010 > Games > Save the one you want

Make sure you have the correct patch installed aswell, if this game is on 10.2, you need to update to 10.2 before you can play.

I have moved lots of saves to different computers and most of the time they work fine. Sometimes the game doesn't load as it says the file is corrupt, so i would recommend backing up the save.

should be fine as long as you install the same patch as the one the save was on
