Question About Barcelona Transfer Ban

Hi Everybody

I bought a player A after summer transfer period, and I got a email for transfer ban until 1st Jan 2017.
So the player A came in 1st Jan 2016, and shows "unavailable" - I can understand it
Even I loan to other club, he still can not allow to play.....feel sad:'(
After 1st Jan 2017, I get email - the ban is finished so I can buy the players.
However the player A still shows "unavailable" even I register him.
I renew him a contract, but still shows "unavailable"

Can someone advise me when this player can be used for the match? or never ever?

I made the mistake of forgetting about the transfer ban and signed verrati ready for January 15, when is the transfer ban up?
 
Cheers, I'll have to loan him out for 6 months in the summer
 
For me the problem was that nobody wanted to loan them, not even in the summer, meaning I have four players who did not play a competitive match for an entire year.

e: Before someone mentions feeders teams, they were also unwilling to go there
