Just started a save with Sassuolo and I have Pol Lirola on loan from Juventus on a two year deal. I have an option to buy him for around 850k i think it is but if I do that it comes with the option for Juve to buy him back in the future for around 1.5 mil. So my question is.. He also have a release clause of 2.6 mil - if I activate that instead of the 850k clause will I then avoid the buy back clause for Juventus or will it still be registered as i paid the 850k clause and just overpaid without any reason?

Hope someone is able to help me out here before I do anything stupid. :)

The players loan contract says that juve can buy him back for 1.5 mil. Therefore as long as he is on loan at your club, regardless of what you pay for him, juve will be able to buy him back for 1.5 mil.

So if you dont want juve to activate that buy-back clause, i think it would be wise to first terminate the players loan deal, let him return to juve, and then activate the release clause of 2.6 mil.
