If I find a player who has a CA of around 150 and a PA of around 200 but their age is over 25, it gets me wondering why they haven't got closer to their potential.

Let's say the player is 28 - should I still consider signing him or should I reason that he's not likely to improve that much for the same reason he hasn't done so already?

At the age of 25, it's too late for him to improve his CA.

Ye this is what I feared - are you sure about this tho ye?

I always thought that some players (like DCs for example) had their best years between 28-32. Is this only for attributes or just outdated information?

I have seen rare examples of players continuing to develop to about 29. But the development is slow.

That's just attribute re-distribution, isn't it? They wouldn't have gained any CA?

No, the CA went up, but only by about 3 or 4 points. If you are looking for a 30 point gain into their late 20's you are out of luck.
