Question about the update

Hi all,
I know at the start football manager is a little bit buggy until they update it. My question is, say I start a save then an update gets released while I'm playing that save - would I have to start a new save for the bugs to be fixed or will it automatically update in my save?

No you won't have to start a new game except for the january patch.

You don't need to start a new save every time they patch the game, only if it has database changes (those only take effect on the start of a new save, then it's the same database for that save, even if they release new ones). Other changes take effect immediately after patching and you don't need to start a new save to see them.
