I was looking at the who's online thing and noticed a google spider and msnbot spider, what are these and do they cause a threat?

Not sure exactly what they do,but have been told they aren't a threat.Think the google bot takes pictures for the google cache or something

They are the "things" that search the web taking note of webpages to add to search engines.

nah not really, there hackers trying to take us down!
