i want to prepare a catenaccio tactic for my 3rd league team to play in cup matches against higher division teams. But i dont understand catenaccio very well, i have some questions.
All the catenaccio tactics i have seen are always asymetric, does it have to be like that?
Why these tactics based on man marking. Cant we prepare it on zonal marking?
How can we get more benedit from sweeper, how should he play?
What about tempo, width etc.
What can we do if opposite team scores a goal and turns to a defensive tactic, how can we come back?
