Questions About The Patch

I just recently got my copy of FM11 but i haven't installed the 11.1.1 patch yet coz i started playing before i downloaded it since i was so eager to play! i'm using the PC Cd-rom version 11.0 and there are quite a lot of flaws especially players missing open goals!

Quick question if I were to install the 11.1.1 patch would I have to start a new game so that the changes are apparent or can i still continue and the changes will be visible as i play? and I'm also using editor data created from the default database will that also be affected since they were not created from the 11.1 database?

You won't have to start a new game if you install the patch. Once you install the patch your ME will be updated, but if you want to have an updated DB, you will have to start a new game.
