Might be a very silly question.

But if you ask your team to whip in crosses, I would assume, as in real life, it's harder to finish it if you get on the end, just like it's harder for the defenders to deal with. I assume it requires players on the receiving end to have high finishing, off the ball, anticipation?

Playing an unemployed save, found myself at Braga B in 16/17. Am playing really well and am top of the championship, but now teams are, expectedly, parking the bus against me. I've always had whipped crosses on because I like the panic caused, but now teams have players back, I am struggling to score, with lots of 'Clear cut' and 'Half' Chances missed, and I think this has a part to play.

My players aren't good at finishing at all, none of them. Considering changing to mixed crosses. Opinions/facts on the matter would be cool.
 
It's a cross, so more than likely will be a headed chance, in which case Heading is much more important than Finishing.
