After three months away from the game due to health issues, we are glad to announce the return of West Bromwich manager Raul. He will continue once again with full proceedings of the club and will be involved with day to day affairs once again. Since he has been gone, Assistant Manager Mark Bowen has showed just what quality the squad possesses with solid performances. We will begin back in March where Raul's first game back will be a return fixture of Benfica in the knockout round.

Return to normal as today. Alot of focus was on me and if after my health issue whether I would have the same effect. If anything it showed today; my players played out their hearts for me. We eliminated Benfica in a demolishing fashion. The lads said after the game the performance was one which I deserved on my return.

Individual brilliance and teamwork; a recipe for success! We have 11 players on the field who are fantastic players and mould them together and its a excellent team aswell. Today we backed up the man and always offered an option for a pass. One of our best performances of the season.
