Raising wages for staff

How do i do this, want a coach who's demanding 500 a week but only got 450.he wont budge. Any help?

You could:

• Lower your transfer budget to accomodate your wage budget to offer higher wages.
• Ask the board to increase your wage budget.
• Offer a much higher signing-on fee.
• Shorten the length of his contract.
• Make his contract part-time.
