Ranking up a very low ranked country.

Ive been wondering if i should try to rank up my country of origin into the top 10 countries.

I plan to do so by increasing the generation players to 200 and get everything up to max so that the countries possibly get some world class players. Planning to increase every facilities to max for all the clubs in the country to win their respective champions league.

Has anyone done this yet? I would like to know if there are any negative outcomes before i invest time in it.

Depends how much you rank up. Club reps, competition reps, nation rep, youth rating, tv/prize money, economy, stadiums etc would all have to be updated, as well as coaches etc to stop players just being poached straight away by teams of higher standing.

Even then still might not guarantee a golden generation all at once.

It could still be decades before a team makes the big leagues or CL final in terms of growth for a smaller nation.
