In which case I can see:

Alonso...Khedira
Ronaldo.......Ozil...........Di Maria
Higuain

For me next season the biggest problem I forsee for Madrid this season is Ronaldo. I can't see him doing what Eto'o did last season and track back profoundly. The only way to resolve that is to make him the lone striker, in which case where does that leave Higuain who incidentally, has signed a new contract. Problem for Jose I think. And the battle of egos between Mourinho and Ronaldo will be interesting.

There shall be no ego clash between Mourinho and Ronaldo. Mourinho will put him in his place and tell him what he has to do. Like Fergie, don't mess with him :)

Kaka will stay, plus he's injured for a while, which will give an excuse to not play him for a while.

I wonder if he'll want to play Ronaldo upfront. If he plays 4-2-3-1 he'll have to play him RW.

Why do Madrid have a midfield fetish?
I mean there players are really good in the middle, but why have a world class midfield & weakish defence?

its not what i would call weakish, ramos and alboil are solid, and marcelo is like dani alves but not as good imo. im not too sure about carvalho, but if he plays anything like he did at his best at chelsea, and also under mourinho, i think they will be solid at the back this season, or i hope!
 
Best attacking midfielder in the world IMO.

How is he worth about £16M and Milner is £30M?

Based on what, a good world cup performance? I agree he is very good but best attacking midfielder? I wouldn't say so, we've only seen about 6 games really of him and I doubt you're an avid Bundesliga follower...

if he didnt only have 1 year, i would defo think he would be worth more, as he is younger with more potential, and also he had such a good world cup, prices are always inflated

Wesley Sneijder springs to mind.

Good signing for Madrid although I can't see where they are going to accommodate all their midfielders, even when they have sold a few.

Big mistake in going back to Madrid for Granero, he will never get a game.
 
always cracks me up when real buys a ton of players who are really good and then they sit on bench or even worst dont play at all.but hope for ozil that he can integrate well there if he gets the chance

Yeah, I know but I love how Ozil played.
 
He better arrange himself a bench buddy in case he ***** up. La Liga is a joke, if Madrid and Barca get draws with each other, I can both see them going unbeaten. Booooring.
 
I know he's not a premier league sort of player but I'm still well disappointed. ***** Real Madrid! :P
