Really bad lag

I started a network game with my friend earlier with him hosting, but it's really laggy for me (takes like 30 seconds to open anything I click), but normal for him. Any way to fix this?

It will go normal for him as he is the host when you are the host it will run normal but it wont for the redt

Yeah I understand that but 30 seconds to open anything? Is it really meant to be that bad? How on earth do people play any network games like that?

Also I should mention I'm on 100mbit internet so that is definitely not the problem.

His internet might be bad then. Try it with you hosting.

I had that at the beginning of a Net game a while ago. But for some reason it sorted itself out. If that doesn't work then you should host, but give it a try.

There's a program called remobo which is similair to hamachi, although it seems to be faster
