Jose Riga has been fired from Blackpool with immediate affect after Karl Oyston said he was not the man to rebuild Blackpool.
The club has been in chaos recently having had to cancel a pre-season tour to Spain with a mere 8 first team players in the squad. They let go of 27 players last season due to contracts expiring and their loan deals ending and dont even have a Goalkeeper at present.

There better known players consist of Isiah Osbourne, Tony McMahon and Ricardo Fuller but the new manager will be looking to add at least a dozen players to his squad before the new season.

I was thinking about it today at work, i see it more as a couple of season challenge rather than a long term story just wanted to see what sort of team i could put together

Just pm'd LFCMarshall and checked with him and its all sorted, there are a few extra youth players in the first team but thats it
 
Glad someone has taken the idea from my thread and started a story with it,
im going to try this soon, but i wont be doing a story on here.
I do see mine as a long term save, being able to turn them from the shambles they are to a premier league force.

As i mentioned on your thread i think a lot of people had this idea after recent news stories, If i pay this as a pass the parcel save though it could go more long term its just the English league stories are a bit played out now once you get into the premier league

He will be our backup keeper and most recently had a spell at Leeds but is probably better known at Portsmouth where at one point he was their main keeper in the Premier League​

Hes won the Europa League and the Spanish League with a long stint at Valencia and has 38 caps with Spain but was at Championship rivals Brighton most recently before agreeing a contract with us.

Hes a bit of an FM Legend for me as i used to always buy him and he has 40 caps with Italy and has spent a fair few years at Juventus and Udinese and has a World Cup Winners Medal to his name, he should be our main target man up front for the new season.


I managed to get the board to increase the transfer budget and then transferred that into extra wages.
