The question is whether we can keep it up? Good 2 months with no losses! With key players returning from injury we should get better!

Good Goal Difference! Most importantly we have grinded wins to be at the top and it sure does feel good!

Financial Update

Good to see everything in black for once!

Nice and Dandy Eh! This doesn't consider the finance if we get promoted me thinks!

Powell has been an absolute beast wherever he has been played! He has started up top and as well as left and right midfield in the absence of Lingard. Be it goals or work rate this man has been amazing!

View attachment 351517

The man who allows Ferdinand to be at his best! He pops up everywhere, reaching where Ferdinand can't and even pops up a goal or two!

A good two months though I am disappointed with both the losses as they were winnable ties but we lost due to some complacency especially against Blackburn! Can we carry this on though?

Still top of the league! I am elated and i certainly didn't expect this come december. A lot of credit has to go to our loan signings who have made major contributions. Also Ferdi, Mckenzie and Diarra have been rocks at the back.

One young Man City Striker arrived on loan for 2 months and put on quite good performances! Now Man City won't loan him back to us those bastards!

Apart from one or two matches, our form has been brilliant! Kieran Westwood is a gem of a keeper and helped us win many of those tight matches! The defeat against Aston Villa was disappointing as we had 3 goals disallowed. I was hoping for a deep F.A cup run.

Its all but wrapped up in the league as Watford imploded in January and February and we ran away with it. Only two points required to secure the championship.

End of Season

So i finished the season for Savan as he passed it on once he had won us Promotion to the Premier League!
So i ended the season on a rather boring note with 3 wins and 2 losses and they all came in the shape of 1-0 wins and 1-0 losses.

League Table

We broke the 100 point margin whilst it will be Watford and Nottm Forest coming to the Promise land with us.

Yeah we have decided as as others have dropped out that we will do a season each at a time and i will be posting up the summer transfers in a mo.

Again apologies, Coolmcool has passed on the save to me! I will repost the month of April and will lead the team in Premier League! It seems i will be continuing the save for a while. Thanks for the patience! An update will be posted soon

Not a bad end to the season! We dropped points against Wigan and Watford otherwise we would have made the record for the highest points in Championship but it doesn't matter as we are champions with a whooping 21 points lead. Many players played well, most of them would be leaving unfortunately as they just aren't cut for Premier League.

View attachment 348994

As you can see, 21 Points!!! Fulham were a disappointment and so were Wolves but well its their loss! I hope we can stay in the Premier League!

View attachment 348993

No one in the attack although I feel Powell should have made it there but nevermind! Spence Ferdinand and Westwood show how strong we were defensively! Westwood would have won Golden Glove if it was there!

And Finally!!

Yes! Manager of the Year! I like shiny trophies!

P.S: I replayed the final games as coolmcool had passed it on to me! Hope you don't mind! Pre-Season and Transfers coming on soon!

Pre-Season

Aims:

1. Avoid Relegation
2. Make a deep run in either cup
3. Improve Finances

We started the pre-season horribly. Yes Zenit and Auxerre are good but I don't believe that they are THAT good. We were undermanned and we improved quickly though. I have not spent a penny throughout the window bringing in free transfers from all over the place.

Transfers

I am very satisfied with my transfer work. With limited wage budget, I have signed some Key Players who hopefully can keep us up. Most of the players have been promised 50 % of their next fee, but seeing as they are on free it didn't matter as most of them were then ready to sign on half the wages.

Best Signing: Amalfitano, Maxi Lopez, Richards

Best Deal: Angel for 1.1 Mn though i got only 10 % to plough back

You ******* up Sergei Zenjov is rather poor management. He is natural striker, F9. Kind of Estonian version of Suarez who lurks around and makes a mess of opponents defence.

He is a LM/LW on game, neither did he perform well in Championship though! And we had better options then him

Mid-Season Update

View attachment 348111

It was a disastrous start to the season! We were just losing and losing and having the players that we do I couldn't change my tactics. We weren't scoring, we were being played off the park. Post-October I had only one trick left up my sleeve. The training which was governed by my Asst. Manager was taken over by me. I focused purely on defending and Defensive Positioning. The rest days were off! My tactic became more fluid and the slowly even the goals started flowing.

Casteels my new keeper has been a huge reason for my success, pulling off saves, left right and center. Richards, Spence, Rio and Popov have been a rock while Coady has taken over Diarra.!

In terms of goals, Pereira and Kozak have started finding a rhythm!

View attachment 348110

11th! That is well over and above my expectations! Come October I was already looking at my Wage Budget thinking who i would chop in Championship next season but Lo and behold! A few bucks spend in January can hopefully keep us up! But its still going to be a grueling six months

Finances

View attachment 348109

Six months in the Prem and we are in 11 Mn profit as compared to the 1.9 Mn Loss last season despite winning Championship. Very happy the way we are progressing. We have got money in the Bank and Coffers.

P.S: I didn't change my Pre-Season expectation in January! Didn't want to raise expectations as Board was giving nothing extra.

P.P.S: My Game crashed after the Swansea game which I had to replay! We won 2-1 with us moving to 8th in the table!

Great start to the Prem mate! Looks like you'll finish mid table which will bring in some good cash! Nice to see the faith in young players too (Powell!)
