Recovering a lost saved game

so my computer messed up the other day and while it was saving Football Manager froze.
i went back to load the game and i was just presented with a message saying it could not be loaded.
is there a way i can recover this file? im in my 9th season as a manager and i have built up alot of stats, this sucks.

this person had the same problem as you. Unfortunately there is no way of getting the game back. Unless you have a backup you are screwed
