From 1987 to 1991 the club had there greatest era! 4 titles in 5 years a Yugoslavian cup, Intercontinental cup & best of all a Champions League in 1991!

In 1987 Club management trio Velibor Vasovic, Dragan Dzajic & Vlad Cvetkovic laid down there 5 year plan to each the top of European football. Early encouragement came from beating Real Madrid at there stadium "the Marakana". They won 4 domestic titles in 5 seasons and at the end of it the final great moment of celebration in the Yugoslavian state with the European Cup & Intercontinental cup in 1991.

29th of May 1991 just like Steaua Bucharest 16 months earlier there empire coming crashing down. This date signifies the end of the Red Star dynasty coming to a ****** end due to the Yugoslavian War.
By 1992 The country was in a civil war. Several of the golden generation had moved on to bigger European teams, Those that stayed had to defend there trophy outside Yugoslavia due to the countrys ban from hosting events due to the war and the following 5 years destroyed the once dominant club as focus moved from football. Once peace broke out the league was in a depleted state and was missing several top teams like Dinamo Zagreb who joined the Croatain league while others moved to Macedonia & Slovenia. along with UN sanction set the league back a long long way!




Flash forward to 2015 and theres good bad and ugly. They are the defending champions however due to there dire financial situation they were not given a UEFA licence keeping them out of Europe. Debt at this starting point is just over £37m! Due to this there is no money to spend now or in the foreseeable future it will be all about the youngsters coming through. Will need 3-5 players each year to be good enough to work there way into the 1st team until we have the money to take in other teams youths & free players

When i was struggling to decide which team to go with over Ajax, Steaua and a few others this man made up my mind. The chance to develop him from cradle to grave prove too much. A player many of you will know and had in the past. I had him in my Man Utd save and he was close to taking a place in the starting 11 till i bought Messi. My plan is to have this man take over from Messi as the player on top of world football.

Average age of the best starting 11 is 22 and thats with 3 players over 30!



Aim 1
Sort out the Finances, Big profits every season and tighten our grip on the Serbian game.


Aim 2
Become a European force again and win a 2nd Champions League building like the 80's team with the best Serbian players who will hopefully go on to break club and national records with me if i can hide them from the lure of the bigger teams.


Aim 3
Keep Luka Jovic forever! He was the big selling point for me. I hope to spend my entire time with him chasing every major club and world record!

Boss > Right lads i'll be having this talk with my key players before the season starts every year and i hope you two will be joining me here for at least the next 15 years.


You two will be European Champions and the most beloved players in Belgrade and all of Serbia if you can fulfill your potential. I wont halt either of your progression by burdening you with extra responsibility at this stage but i want you to know you two are the future of this time and us 3 are the keys to turning this team around.


Luca > My father played at Partizan but my heart has been here since i was a kid. I scored my 1st goal 2 minutes into my debut last season and this year i hope i can play a more important role it keeping the title.
Boss > You'll be my No 1,2 & 3 striker from today for the next 15 years. Unquestioned! Stay here and lets build a legacy!

Boss > Darko & Mihailo I had some enquirys about you on my desk when i arrived but to let you know i'm offering you contract extensions till 2017 with considerable increse in pay to secure you both stay here. I know the club needs money but if you guys give me another season we'll have a look at who's sniffing around next summer and if we have a move that interests yourselfs and the club we can make it happen, If not we can review it each summer. What do you both think?

No money so no transfers while we moved on a few squad player but nobody of note
Board pump in £3.3m as cash but were now paying back previous loans at a cost of £226k a month so nothing more for me to spend

Dominated from kick off. Had a little scare when they pulled it back to 2-1 but we just pushed on again. Partizan made a point of taking top spot on day 1 with a 6-0 win.

Disapline totally failed us as for the first time i can ever remember we had 2 players sent off in the 1st half. Even with that against us we were in control and held of Mladost till the 78th minute then there own Gavric got the winner at the death!

Were a disapointing 4th but the only saving grace is that our great rivals and title favorites Partizan also lost twice and lost there stay youth player.

I was so happy as the days ticked into September and i still had all my key players while getting rid of all but 1 of the players i wanted to clear all be it most of them left on loan still its about £1k a week in savings for the club. Across town at Partizan they lost there No1 to Atalanta and there star youngster Andrija Zivkovic to Porto but made over £2m from those deals plus future insentives. PSG didnt miss a trick and signed Jagodina's u21 star Fillipovic while Elbar nicked his u21 team mate Gajic. These will be our kinda signings in the future!

Poor result for my u19 team but at least were still in the cup. Our next opponents and biggest rivals Partizan were knocked out in a penalty shoot out however so 1st team will play from now on.

Two wins and a draw see us move further clear at the top of the pile
We played our best team but again needed penaltys in the Serbian Cup
Spend almost £200k to cut down on my staff as i notice were spending more than double our wages on them.
Board agree to talk about a new contract in November and i'll negotiate a HUGE Wage cut
