Reduce FM CPU use

while im at uni im playing on my laptop its a few years old and has a duel core, while playing FM my cpu usage goes right up to 100% which makes the game run stupidly slow, i have tried running with only a small amount of leagues running (just english ones) and in that setup my comp proformance should have been 4 stars but it still happend, any advice will be taken its really getting annoying now

While playing FM i only have steam and FM running and when i have just a web browser running my cpu usage is typically about 20%

Powerpack tweaknow 2011 seems to have helped in my PC. I'd say give it a try.
