Reduce Wage Demand

HI, Does anyone know how to get this to be highlighted? Everytime I go and try and reduce a players wage it's never highlighted and available to be selected I'm fed up of having **** players requesting loads of money on their wage help please

Best way i have found is to give them a release clause in their contract or bonuses they will never obtain,

I haven't run into this situation yet in FM13, but in FM12 and earlier it was usually only if the club was seriously in the red and in danger of going under, then you could ask them to reduce demands (and it usually worked). But if your finances are normal, I don't think it's going to become highlighted.

What esanahka said, that is only for when your club is in financial difficulty! Whenever you are talking to someone and there are grayed out options like that, if you hover your mouse over it it'll say why it is grayed out!
