Hi All,

If this is a stupid question forgive me.

I'm a couple of seasons in and started thinking about regens, I have sent my scouts on world tours looking for players with a max age of 19 but all they come back with are players who will be good not players who are good now. I know this is sort of the plan but in previous FMs there have always been regens who by the age of 19 are world class with the stats to prove it but not the price tags. These are the guys I'm desperately trying to find!!

Can anyone make any recommendations about how to find this type of player???

Thanks

There is a list kicking about on here with the regen day (it has changed for fm12.) On the correct day ie 7th of March for scotland go to 1 team in the top league, say aberdeen, then go transfers, history, youth players, where you will find a list of all the youth players promoted on that very day giving you the first opertunity to find and sign the next messi, though maybe not at aberdeen! It takes time but when you find one or two, and thats all you will find each season its worth it.
Another thing worth mentioning is that sending a scout to scout the world is in my experiance ****. Send him to specific countries, think you will find this more sucsessfull.
Hope this helps.

Fow.

Hey Crofts, this is kind of the idea of regens because they are created for the future but if you want to find the already class young players think about adding attributes to the scout searches so that the scouts have something to look for, such as technique-17 and dribbling 17 or customise to what position you are looking for.

Hope this helps.

Thanks guys, Ill give it a go and see what they come up with.

What i usally do is. When the regens are release goto search players click 17 or younger the just click value. The most expensive regens are usally the best ones then just scout the top 20 :) Easy
