Regens in FM18

Question for users with long saves (10/20+ seasons)

What about skills of regens? Is there sence to play long save for 30+ years?
In FM17 regens had random skill balance, which caused deficit of good players.

There was not a random skill balance in FM17. Newgens have not been fully random for quite a few versions. They use templates, with a degree of randomness. There may be certain imbalances in the process, but SI is generally looking out for those.

When you say a "lack of good players", are you meaning ones lacking adequate potential to become world class stars or players with good potential but having a starting skill level / balance that makes fully developing into a true star unlikely? Those are different things and impacted by different factors.
