i was wondering if it is possible to register the game at steam for two different accounts????
for exaple when i bought norton anti-virus i had the right to register it for 3 different pcs,is something like that possible for fm or do i have to buy it twice?

You'd have to buy it twice, as far as I know Steam doesn't do multi-product CD keys like you said.

if you want it on different computer you just install the game from steam to your computer

No. You are only buying one license. But what you could do is install it on one machine on your steam account and then switch steam to offline mode, and then install it on the second machine.

You don't have to install through steam, however, if you are buying a boxed copy. You are given the option whether you want to use steam or not. Not going through steam is a bit more lenient - I believe the game only does a disk check when it starts.

just a note so as not to be confused: i won't buy it from steam but from a shop(like the old traditional way :P) but i would like to register it for another pc as well and of course both the pcs to be registered as valid products(and not of some kind of piracy)
i could do that for norton with one cd key, that's why i am asking

edit: i don't want to have it in two computers from one(mine) steam account but in two separate pcs for two steam accounts...
as i understood that cannot happen...that isn't a problem for my situation as i want to give it to a friend for his birthday also but now i am going to buy another one for him(i just wanted to save some money if possible :P )but isn't that a problem for brothers perhaps who have to buy it twice?

in that case buy it from the shop, but install it via steam on one, and then via cd on the other. IIRC the redrups on here did exactly that with fm10

You won't be able to have it on more than one Steam account. But you can install & play it on as many computers as you like with the registered Steam account.
