Registration issue or a bug ?

Hello all
Plaaying fm2017 and have invested 500 hours getting it all set up just nicely and boom ... world club cup ... I have checked my inbox but I was never sent a registration request. Game is stuck with no way I can see to register and play. Please help.

Well ... fixed my issue ... in the spirit of things I will share my solution. I went on holiday for a day and forced the game to proceed. It did and it won 9 . 0
