Relegation release clause..

Hi,

When you sign a player with a relegation release clause, I understand they can be sold at anytime if a club offers the amount specified and you cannt reject it.

Is the relegation release clause based on the division the club was in when the player was signed.

E.G - I sign player when in coca-cola champs, get promoted to premier division at the end of season, then next season relegated from premier division. Would the release clause still count?

That is when it would count but only if you got relegated. A minimum fee release clause would cause you to have to sell the if they offered that amount.

Yes but just offer the guy a new contract?
