Removing Rangers' Transfer Embargo?

When using the data editor, I removed Rangers' transfer ban but when I start a new game, it's still there.
I've tried changing the start/end date but that makes no difference.

Can anyone help with this??

No idea, try FRMTE to change? i had no problem just taking the dates out for Rangers..

This sounds crazy but have you selected the edited database when your starting the new save ? as long as you have removed it from editor it should work, unsure about what would happen with current players in the squad because they might have something on their contract regarding starting on the 1st of september that made need changing ?

Removing Embargo

There is a simple solution when you remove the dates, go to changes at the bottom and remove the normal dates don't know why it does this but this works and removes the embargo.

just remove transfer embargo from C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Football Manager 2014\data\db\1430\transfer embargo file and thats it
