I've started a career with Barnet in nPower League 2. The squad is decent enough, but about 10-11 players have contracts that expire in June, 2012, most of them very important players. I've tried renewing with several of them, but everyone wants insane increases. The average is an increase of about 60-80%.
For example, my keeper wants an increase in salary from 30.000 to 68.000, his match bonus is to increase from 800/match to 3500/match and to top it of; a 25% increase in salary the following season!
I only have 28.000 left to go on my salary budget. This is insane!
Is it because I've tried renewing their contracts at the very start of my save, will it be a bit easier if I wait a little longer? If not I can give up keeping any of them the following season.
