Höwedes and Westermann are as solid as a German player can ever be.
 
West Brom's (on loan at the dale) Craig Dawson is a great player to sign as a backup. They usually only want about 650k for him second season in. Great traditional CB attributes (Heading etc)

ryan shawcross is quality signed him a few tyms and he come out with around 7.5 ratings each season
 
id say stay english speaking and in the same blend so jagielka , dawson , jones , wilson**
 
i think ill stick with the english selections but may look into the others also.
